HSP (Headset Profile)
The HSP describes how a Bluetooth enabled headset should communicate with a computer or other Bluetooth enabled device such as a mobile phone.

Usage Scenarios
The typical usage scenario is, of course, using a wireless headset to connect with your mobile phone.

HFP (Hands-Free Profile)
HFP describes how a gateway device can be used to place and receive calls for a hand-free device.

Usage Scenarios
A common scenario would be a car kit in your vehicle. The car kit would connect to your mobile phone and be used to place and receive calls. Even more common would be the use of your wireless headset to place and receive calls when connected to a mobile phone.

A2DP  (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)
Describes how stereo-quality audio can be streamed from a media source to a sink.

Usage Scenarios
Put simply, this is a Bluetooth enabled music player (i.e. MP3 player, walkman, stereo, etc.).
The audio source is the music player and the audio sink is the wireless headset or wireless stereo speakers.

AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile)
AVRCP is designed to provide a standard interface to control TVs, hi-fi equipment, or others to allow a single remote control (or other device) to control all the A/V equipment to which a user has access. It may be used in concert with A2DP or VDP.

Usage Scenarios
Basically your action manipulates the control. You can adjust menu functions that are already commonly used, such as adjusting the brightness of your TV or hue, or a VCR timer, as well as audio funtions like sound adjustments, play, pause, skip, etc.
