Serene Innovations CentralAlert™ CA-FA
The CA-FA CentralAlert Smoke Detector with CA-AX Audio Transmitter first detects smoke and generates a T3 audio tone that is picked up by the Serene CA-AX Audio Transmitter which sends a wireless signal to compatible CentralAlert receivers.
Compatible CentralAlert receivers include: CA-360, CA-360Q, CA-380, CA-PX, and CA-RX.
Model CA-FA consists of a UL listed First-Alert® smoke detector and a wireless transmitter mounted on a common mounting plate. It is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting. This device is intended for use with Serene Model CA-360 and CA-360Q Wireless Notification System (bedside receiver) for the hearing impaired. First-Alert smoke detector uses a photoelectric sensor for less nuisance alarms. Its internal battery is designed for 10-year operation. The wireless transmitter is a supervised type (Serene Model CA-AX) and uses two AA size alkaline batteries for operation. Typical battery life is 10 to 24 months.
