Amplifying the incoming voice by up to 40 decibels, The Equalizer's amplifications turns off automatically when you hang up the receiver, protecting the other hearing members in your family. In addition, it is telephone line powered, so no adapter is necessary, allowing The Equalizer to remain functional under the worst conditions.
